Vision Statement
Promote the openness of government by providing quality service through access to records, oversight of legislative obligations and proceedings, recording the city’s actions, and ensuring the highest integrity in election proceedings.
The City Clerk's Office:
-
Codifies the City's Municipal Code.

Maintains the City's official records.

Coordinates the City's Records Management Program.

Prepares agendas and attends/records all City Council / Redevelopment Agency / Public Financing Authority Meetings.

Serves as filing officer for Fair Political Practices Commission.

Serves as the City's Election Officer for all municipal elections.
-
Coordinates the Council appointments to the Citizen Committees/Commissions.
-
Performs City Clerk duties as directed by the California Government Code.
