LA COLONIA PARK
Mornings at La Colonia Park one can see locals catching some rays as they walk or jog the path that surrounds the park boundaries. With the assistance of the Public Arts Advisory Commission, a grass-roots effort by members of the community commissioned a mural that commemorates many of the early families that settled in the area during the 1800's through the 1930's. Their names are listed on the leaves of the "Tree of Life."
THE COASTAL RAIL TRAIL
