Recreation Classes!

 

To register for a class or Recreation Department program, mail the completed registration form along with your payment directly to: City of Solana Beach Parks and Recreation Department, 635 South Highway 101, Solana Beach, California 92075. Make checks payable to City of Solana Beach. Please do not leave registration forms at the school office, or with teachers, this will only delay the process. Students must register for classes and programs with the Recreation Department prior to attending. Children who attend who have not pre-registered will not be permitted to stay.

Summer Day Camp


 

The staff at the La Colonia Community Center would like to welcome you and your family, or your business, to our facility. We are located approximately one half mile north of the Del Mar fairgrounds, at 715 Valley Avenue. This is an active and community-involved center that wants to provide the best recreational activities possible. If you have any comments, questions or suggestions please call us at 858-720-2453, or feel free to stop by the Community Center and talk with the staff. La Colonia Community Center has the following alcohol/tobacco-free facilities that are available for you to rent at a reasonable hourly rate:


Multipurpose Sports Field:
This outdoor area is perfect for team use, company picnics, or everyday exercise.


Large Banquet/Meeting Room:
The main hall is approximately 1,530 square feet and accommodates a maximum assembly of 218 guests. Banquet seating accommodates 101 guests. The buildings amenities include a serving area, catering kitchen, men's and women's restrooms, projections screens, tables and chairs. The hall can be apportioned off to accommodate smaller meetings or gatherings. Alcoholic beverages are prohibited.



Small Conference Room:
This 800 square foot room is perfect for meetings or children's parties, up to 15 people.



Outdoor Picnic Area with BBQ's:
A special event permit is needed for groups of 25 or larger. Please call 858-720-2453 to ask about permit requirements and fees.
