Solid Waste

 

The City of Solana Beach has exclusive franchise agreements with Waste Management for residential pick-up and EDCO Waste and Recycling Services for all other solid waste collection services. These companies are the only authorized companies that can haul solid waste in the City of Solana Beach.

Holiday Pick-Up Schedule:

 

Waste Management and EDCO Waste and Recycling Services observe the following holidays:

-New Year's Day -Labor Day

-Memorial Day -Thanksgiving Day

-Independence Day -Christmas Day

 

When a holiday falls on a weekday, collection will be delayed one day for the remainder of the week. For example, if a holiday occurs on a Thursday, collection days will remain the same on Monday thru Wednesday, but Thursday collection will happen on Friday, Friday on Saturday, etc.
